Mandatory NYPD Business Cards
It is the law that NYPD officers must be prepared to give out their business card.
The law is called the Right to Know Act.

"Under the Right to Know Act, civilians may always ask an officer for this business card but officers are only required to offer the card in certain circumstances, such as during a frisk, searches of your person, property, vehicle, or home, or at sobriety checkpoints."
A minority might not always know that they have the right to ask for a business card. I want to amend the law to make it mandatory for officers to give their card during any encounter.
